How does my film make money on Abracadabra?
THREE WAYS
SUBSCRIBER REVENUE: At launch, our system rewards filmmakers based on the subscribers they bring to Abracadabra. Each quarter, you’ll receive an amount based on the number of subscribers your film(s) brought on. This model ensures your efforts to share your work are directly rewarded.
AD REVENUE: Once you have a hundred subscribers you will also get a portion of the ad revenue we receive from the pre-roll ads we run.
VIEWS: At a later date TBD we will implement revenue paypouts that awards views. A paid-per-view system is part of our long-term plan. Once we have plenty of content, a strong subscriber base, and steady ad revenue, we’ll implement a paid-per-view model. This will allow you to earn based on individual views, providing another revenue stream.
As the platform grows, these thresholds will be adjusted per film maker and subscriber, ensuring fairness and sustainability as we expand.

Is there and why do you charge a setup fee?
Yes we charge a setup fee of $25 per film maker now and $50 per film starting in June. The setup fee is a minimal charge designed to cover the costs of labor and back-end support. This ensures that your film is uploaded, the correct pre-roll ad is attached to it, and presented in the best possible way, with the technical infrastructure to match.

How do you track the subscribers I bring onto Abracadabra?
Once your setup fee is paid and your receive a welcome email with directions. Your welcome package will include a coupon code for anyone who subscribes because of your efforts. As long as they continue to subscribe you will be paid quarterly portion fo the subscription fee.
Does my film have to be exclusively on Abracadabra?
No it does not but do check your agreements with your distributor or other platforms.
When are you launching?
We are launching in April 9th 2025
What genre of films will you accept?
Fantasy, Horror, and Sci-Fi. Feature films, shorts, and shows that fit in those genres. We will also consider documentaries, series, and shorts that are connected to those genres. Submitted films are screened for approval.
Violence, Sex, and Nudity?
Abracadabra will balance out the needs of our advertisers and the storytelling needs of the genres we serve specifically Fantasy, Horror, and Sci-Fi.
Will you accept AI created films?
No we will not.. AI is a tool and should not be used for more then 20% of any body of film work. Although we may change this overtime especially for animated films and as the tools evolve.
Will it be web based or apps?
First it will be a web based platform and then we will launch apps for both Google Play Android and Apple.
Will it have a slick interface?
Yes, it will look like market leading platforms we are all familar with. In addition we will have features that will help the community grow with features unique to Abracadabra.
How long will my movie or movies be on the service?
Minimum one year. This is subject to change as the service matures.
How much is a subscription?
$9.99 without a creator coupon. With your creator coupon only $4.99!
